Elsa Zepeda Salinas, of Castroville, passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 64. She was born September 5, 1957 in Odgen, Utah to Eusebio Salinas, Sr. and Ofelia Zepeda Salinas.

In 1975, Elsa graduated from Medina Valley High School. She was a cook over the years at Sammy's, McDonald's, and the Railhead Café.

Survivors include her daughters, Crystal Salinas, and Jennifer Hemby both of Castroville; grandchildren, Jolene, Carter, and Jaxon Acuna; siblings, Adelita Botello, Alicia Aguirre, Jose Luis Salinas, Jesus Salinas (Esmeralda), Eusebio Salinas, Jr., Sandra Salinas, and Ramiro Salinas; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Elsa was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will have a private celebration of her life.
