Elenora Geiger was born on June 26, 1939, in Hondo, Texas, and grew up in Quihi, Texas. She was a member of the Quihi Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Elenora was an excellent cook and worked as a cook at Medina Valley ISD and Sammy’s Restaurant and was known for her love of cooking. At home, she enjoyed baking and passed her love of cooking and baking on to her daughter, Terry.

She enjoyed traveling to the coast and going to the movies with her family. She also loved planting flowers and gardening, finding joy in caring for the things she helped grow.

Elenora passed away on September 29, 2026. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terry Geiger Evans of La Coste and her son and daughter-in-law, Rudolph “Jack” Geiger, Jr. and Sheila of Richmond, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Fritz Eckhart and Minnie Walch Eckhart, her husband, Rudolph John “Jack” Geiger; and her son-in-law, Tommy “Scooter” Evans.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Quihi Cemetery.
