Edna Anna Kallies Long, of Atascosa, Texas passed away on December 25, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 95. She was born November 10, 1926 in San Antonio to William Carl Kallies and Alma Agnes Zunker Kallies.

In 1945 Edna graduated from Breckenridge High School. She married Arlege Ray Long, who preceded her in death in 1979. Edna was a homemaker and also worked at a paper envelope manufacturing company.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lou Robotham of San Antonio, Sharon Nagy (Bill) of Lytle, Patricia Gill of Castroville, and Raelyn Tucker of Atascosa; grandchildren, Donald Ray Holloway, Melissa Gomez, Michelle Rodriguez, and Leslie Gonzalez; fourteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arlege Ray Long; grandson, David Ray Gill; sons-in-law, Gary Gill and Michael Tucker; brother, William Carl Kallies, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
