Dorothy Mae Husky White, of Lytle, passed away on August 11, 2020 in Lytle, at the age of 95 years. She was born May 6, 1925 in Vernon, Texas to Robert Russell Husky and Mattie Elizabeth Presley Husky.

On September 14, 1947, she married William "Edward" White at the Lytle United Methodist Church. They were blessed with forty-four years of marriage at the time of Edward's passing December 29, 1991.

Dorothy owned and operated her own beauty shop, Dorothy White's Beauty Shop, styling the hair for beautiful ladies for many years. She was a 75-year member of the Lytle Eastern Star Chapter. Dorothy was also a former member of the Atascosa County Library Board, Friends of the Lytle Library and the 42 Club.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Ann Reinhardt (Kenny) of Franklin, John White (Sherry) of Lytle, Scott White (Carolyn) of Lytle, Richard "Rick" White (Kathy) of Lytle; grandchildren, Sammy White (Brandy), Lance White (Jennifer), Julie Neyland (Todd), Ken Reinhardt (Robbie), Kyle Reinhardt (Deborah), Jennifer Ramirez (James), Robert White (Kristin) and Matthew White (Lindsay); thirteen great-grandchildren and one "on-the-way".

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mattie Husky; husband, Edward White; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jimmie Husky.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lytle Community Cemetery in Lytle, Texas.
