Doris Mae Etter Jagge, of Castroville, passed away on November 22, 2021 at the age of 98. She was born September 3, 1923 in Castroville, Texas to Fritz Etter and Viola Lena Schuehle.

On August 29, 1943, Doris married Stanley Joseph Jagge at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. They were blessed with forty-eight years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1992.

Survivors include her children, Stanley B. Jagge (Pam) of Castroville, TJ Jagge (Sharon) of Atascosa, Michael Jagge (Ruthann) of Rio Medina, Brenda Zimmerman (John) of San Antonio, and Melissa Boehme (Allen) of Hondo; ten grandchildren, Kevin Jagge (Sherry), Michelle Reeder (Dan), Brandon Zimmerman (Laura), Jennifer Krieger (Brent), Stacey Dunahoo (Jeff), Greg Jagge (Cristyn), Julianna Jagge, Gene Zimmerman, Maxx Boehme (Mary), and Gus Boehme; thirteen great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley J. Jagge; her infant daughter, Tina Jagge; and her step-father, Alfred A. Haby.

Visitation will be Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. followed by The Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Quihi Cemetery in Quihi.
