Dolores Garcia Ramirez of Castroville, passed away on June 20, 2022 in San Antonio at the age of 81. She was born April 4, 1941 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Jose Bernardino Garcia and Domitila Cosio Ramirez Garcia.

On January 26, 1961, Dolores married Gonzalo Ramirez in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They were blessed with sixty-one years of marriage, one daughter, four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Dolores worked as a seamstress for Lankford's Manufacturing and Walls Manufacturing, making clothing for many years. She also assembled musical instruments for C.G. Conn Company in Abilene, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Gonzalo Ramirez of Castroville; daughter and son-in-law, Bertha and Dudley Mason, Sr. of Castroville; grandchildren, Danial Mason, Sr. (Dusti) of Abilene, Maria Rhodes (Gary II) of Abilene, Cecilia Kroll (James) of Abilene, and Dudley Mason, Jr. (Laura) of Boerne; great-grandchildren, Morgan Mason, Molly Mason, David Mason, Danial Mason, Jr., Grace Rhodes, Atticus Rhodes, Chloe Rhodes, Victoria Rhodes, Skyler Kroll, Trinity Kroll, Jackson Kroll, Dylan Mason, and Fynly Mason; siblings, Bertha Segura (Manuel), Guadalupe Garza, Janie Rand (Raymond), Connie DeAnda (Max), Javier Garcia (Rosita); numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other relatives; three dogs, Sunshine, Bambi, and Miruña.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Alfredo Garcia, Jose Garcia, and William Rand.

Gathering for the Mass will begin on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville.
