Debora Rene Kononchuk Wilson, of Castroville passed away January 13, 2025 at the age of 68. She was born April 20, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Samuel Kononchuk and Virginia Belle Gerard Kononchuk.

On May 12, 1979, Debora married Jerry Wayne Wilson at St. Vincent de Paul in San Antonio. They were blessed with forty-five years of marriage and two sons.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wilson, Sr. of Castroville; sons, Jerry Wilson, Jr. (Miranda) of Hondo and Paul Wilson (Danielle) of Castroville; grandchildren, Jerry Wilson, Juliet Wilson, and Travis Wilson; brothers, Paul Kononchuk (Debra) of Castroville and Samuel Kononchuk II of Kyle.

Debora was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; sister, Carrie Flores; and brother, Mike Kononchuk.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. The Committal Service and Interment will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. The procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am on Wednesday, January 29th.
