Cynthia Ann (Smith) Hanna of Devine went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 27, 2025 at the age of 83 years. Cynthia was born September 19, 1941 to Otis T. and Hazel Lorene (Brown) Smith in Dallas, Texas. She became a homemaker and mother early in life, later going back to school to become an EMT, a nurse, and for most of her career, a nursing home administrator.

As everyone who ever met her knew, Cynthia was a faithful and strong Christian woman. She fiercely loved and was loved by her family. She was devoted to her church and liked nothing better than to invite everyone at church over to family dinners, birthdays, and holiday parties. She loved singing with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Alex Conrad; her sons, Vincent and Gene Morris, sister, Beverly Roberts; brother-in-law, Billy Wewe; and cousin "sister", Jimaree Parrish.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jon Hanna; daughters, Tina Goodman and husband Shane; Kimberly Matthiessen and husband Jack; and Kimberly Norman and husband Steve; son, Marcus Hanna and wife Sarah; daughter-in-law, Laurie Morris; grandchildren, Brandon Dominguez, Bethany Smith and husband Jonathan, Melissa Wagoner, Matthew Morris, Kurtis Anderwald and wife Ashley, Kara Anderwald, Ryan Johnson, Sydney Pauley and husband Kevin, Miriam Ashley Hanna, and Marcus Jon Hanna; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Chaz, and Jason Dominguez; Addison, Paxtynn, and Lincoln Wagoner; Lily Ann Smith; Jon-Luke, Jace, and Austin Anderwald; and Dakota, Sunny, and Pepper Pauley; sister, Madge Wewe; brother-in-law, Gus Roberts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be Wednesday February 5, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, Castroville, Texas. Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Community Church, 2097 County Road 4516, Castroville, Texas. A graveside service and interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Rest Cemetery, 14580 Hwy 16 North, Medina, Texas.
