Claudia Soliz Hinojosa, of La Coste, passed away on March 21, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born October 30, 1929 in La Coste, Texas to Julio Soliz and Francisca Franco Soliz.

Claudia married Gumesindo Jose Hinojosa. They were blessed with many years of marriage and two children at the time of his death in 1996. Claudia was a homemaker, always busy taking care of her family and home. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda and Jacinto Medellin of La Coste; son, Jose Leon Hinojosa of La Coste; grandchildren, Richard Medellin (Courtney), and Genevieve Keller (Russell) all of La Coste; great-grandchildren, Lauren Keller, Dorian Keller, and Cohen Medellin of La Coste; sister, Maria Soliz of La Coste; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, Julio and Francisca Soliz; husband, Gumesindo Hinojosa; brothers, Jose Soliz, and Barbarito Soliz; sisters, Consuelo Botello, Nolberta Gomez, Cruz Soliz, and Romana Soliz.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste.
