Chris Alcalá, Sr., of Natalia passed away April 5, 2024 at the age of 51. He was born August 5, 1972 in San Antonio, Texas to Lucio D. Alcalá, Sr. and Mary Ester Alvarez.

Survivors include his children, Chris "CJ" Alcalá, Jr. (Miranda) of San Antonio, Chris Samuel Alcalá of Castroville, Wesley Olivan (Teresa Solis) of La Caste, Isaac Olivan of Natalia, Felicia Olivan Hernandez (Tom) of Austin, and Vincent Olivan of Natalia; one grandchild; six step-grandchildren; wife, Rosemary Martinez of Natalia; parents, Lucio D. Alcalá, Sr. of San Antonio and Mary Ester Alvarez of San Antonio; sisters, Reynalda M. Ramos and Cynthia G. Martinez; brother, Michael Alvarez; as well as numerous other relatives.

Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel Alcalá, David Alcalá, and Lucio Alcalá, Jr.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
