Brenda Denise Lyles Verstuyft, of La Coste, passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 61. She was born April 9, 1961 in San Antonio, Texas to William Jerry Lyles and Beverly Jean Matthias Lyles.

On February 14, 1981, Brenda married Larry Norman Verstuyft at Lackland Baptist Church in San Antonio. They were blessed with forty-one years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Verstuyft of La Coste; children, Steven Verstuyft (Sarah) of San Antonio, and Nicole Verstuyft of Dallas; grandsons, Isaiah Verstuyft, and Steven Verstuyft, Jr.; sister, Debbie Lyles of Pleasanton.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Linda Lyles.

Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Cleard and Terry Mims officiating from Widow's Mite Christian Outreach Ministry. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas.
