Barbara Lee McKee

Born December 10, 1946 passed peacefully at 9:05am on Saturday August 1, 2026 at home with family by her side. She leaves behind five children Mary A. Wigley, Henry Lee Peterson, Diane Peterson, Laura Rice, and Billy Peterson along with several grand and great grandchildren and a brother, Earnest McKee. Barbara was fun loving wife, mother, and daughter. She was always outgoing and always told everyone to call her grandma. She always welcomed people with open arms and stood by whoever needed her. Rest in Peace to the best grandmother a child could ever have. She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Thompson. Interment will be at 10 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Castroville Community Cemetery, at 1305 US Hwy 90 in-between Jackson Street and Alsace Street.
