Barbara Carol Daring Chandler of Castroville, passed away on October 27, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born September 11, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert Laverne Daring and Vivian Ruth Russell Daring.

Barbara graduated in 1961 from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth. On January 3, 1964, Barbara married Robert O. Chandler, Jr. at the Polytechnic Church of Christ. She was a stay-at-home wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Robert O. Chandler, Jr. of Castroville; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joel Hager of San Antonio; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Jaime Chandler of Castroville; grandchildren, Alyssa McMillian (Justin), Blake Chandler (Kyon), Kohl Chandler, and Chandler Hager; great-grandchildren, Jaxon McMillian, Jude McMillian, Vivian McMillian, Eliana Guevara, and Blakelyn Chandler; and her brother and sister-in-law, Rusty and Beth Daring of San Antonio.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Castroville Community Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
