Barbara Jean Ruthe Martinez. (Bobbie), of San Antonio, passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 68 years. She was born December 9, 1952 in Freeport, Illinois to Nelson Patterson Ruthe and Mabel Marie Klosa Ruthe.

Survivors include her husband, Pete Martinez of San Antonio; daughters, Nicole Stender (Jeremy) of San Antonio and Sarah Wise (Rene) of Universal City; four grandchildren; sister, Debra Thomas; stepmother, Marilyn Ruthe.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Mabel Ruthe.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, 12525 Potranco Rd. San Antonio TX 78253. Services will conclude at the church.
