Antonia 'Toni' Hinojosa Duron, of La Coste, Texas, passed away August 27, 2026 at the age of 97. She was born June 13, 1929 in La Coste, Texas, to Ernesto Cuellar Hinojosa and Simona Saucedo Hinojosa.

On August 31, 1948, Toni married Marcos Garcia Duron at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. They were blessed with sixty years of marriage at the time of his passing on February 5, 2009. For thirty-two years, Toni worked for Medina Valley ISD as a cook.

Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Gonzales of Devine; daughter-in-law, Ann Duron of Castroville; son-in-law, Barney L. Cruz, Jr. of Helotes; grandchildren, Monica Hernandez (Robert), Michelle Quiroz, Raquel Donaghy (Aaron), Veronica Duron, Travis Gonzales, Brandon Gonzales, Aiden Fussel, Christian Duron, Nicholas Duron, and Victoria Duron; great-grandchildren, Raven Duron, Jaxtyn Gonzales, Gabriel Donaghy, Cristian Donaghy, Marissa Hernandez, and Diego Hernandez; great-great-grandchild, Maddox Galdeano; siblings, Ernesto Hinojosa, Jr., Carrie Cortez (Pablo), Janie Olivares, Jessie Hinojosa (Janie), and Maria Hinojosa; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Toni was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marcos Duron; sons, Bill Duron and Ruben Duron; daughter, Mary Louise Cruz; siblings, Elijio Hinojosa (Mina), Angie Warner, Arturo Hinojosa (Connie), Maria Lopez (Joe).

Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery in La Coste, Texas.
