Andrew Marshall Foerster, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away October 18, 2026 at the age of 87. He was born June 19, 1939 in St. Hedwig, Texas, to Andrew Foerster and Annie Kosub Foerster.

On August 24, 1963, Andrew married Shirley Ann Rittimann at the Community United Church of Christ in San Antonio.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Groff (Pete) of Castroville, Keith Foerster (Cherie) of San Antonio, Andrea Foerster of Cibolo; grandsons, Cody Groff (Kylee), Casey Groff, and step grandson, Corey Childers (Victoria); step great-granddaughter, Cassidy Childers; brother, August Foerster (Judy); as well as other relatives and friends.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Foerster; step grandson, Camaron Ward; and his sister, Josephine Solarczyk.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
